What it is.

A focused, one-day introduction to the Wim Hof Method, for people who are curious, new to the practice, or experienced and want a powerful group experience.

We spend the day moving through the three pillars of the method — conscious breathing, cold exposure, and mindset. There's a science lesson, a breathwork session, a guided ice bath and time to ask questions.

You leave with the knowledge, experience and confidence to practice on your own. This workshop is also great preparation for the WHM Weekend and any longer expedition.

Who it's for.

For you, if —
  • You want an experience that truly breaks patterns, shifts understanding and is safe but powerful.
  • You're curious about the method, the science, the experience, why it works and how to go further.
  • You want to take your first ice bath in a safe, guided setting.
  • You're considering the WHM Weekend or an expedition and want to start here.
  • You want to be part of a powerful guided group breathing session with the technique that baffled scientists.
Not for you, if —
  • You have epilepsy, are pregnant, or have a serious cardiovascular condition. (Check with your doctor first.)

What to expect.

Learn the science. From the endotoxin studies at Radboud 2012-2014 to the unbelievable results of the Mind Over Body experiment in 2019 to the biggest study with 400+ participants in December 2025. Learn the solid science and why this works before you do it.
A full breathwork session. Ask anyone who's attended one of these breathwork  sessions and they'll tell you there are very few (if any) experiences that compare to the effects of the Wim Hof Method Breathing. With your group, you'll will tap into your body's intelligence and also prepare it for the ice.
Your first ice bath. A guided cold exposure with a new level of understanding. Not only will you be fine, you will thrive.
Mindset work. The pillar that is the soul of The Wim Hof Method. You will start to see a new mindset evolve.
Surprises. You will surprise yourself with something you thought was impossible an hour earlier. And maybe more surprises!
A take-home practice. You leave with a daily practice you can continue using to grow and evolve a new version of you, but not alone!

Booking and payment is handled by the official Wim Hof Method platform — not through this page. You'll be taken to my profile on wimhofmethod.com, where you can register and pay securely for the date that suits you.

  • Prices are shown in euros (€) on the WHM platform, since it's a global system. Your bank will convert at the live rate when you pay.

What to bring.

Essentials
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Swimwear
  • Large towel
  • Clothes to change into after your ice bath
  • Flip-flops or sandals for the walk to and from the ice bath
  • A re-useable water bottle
Optional but useful
  • A journal — many people want to write something down after the ice
  • A yoga mat if you prefer your own (we provide them)
  • We provide a light meal, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
Important
  • Don't eat a heavy meal in the 3 hours before the workshop.
  • You will receive a health declaration via email which must be filled prior to the workshop.
